Australian Competition and Consumer Commission

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is the peak national agency responsible for promoting competition, fair trading and consumer protection. Employees of the ACCC are also able to work for the Australian Energy Regulator which has responsibility for economic regulation of the gas and electricity markets, and enforcement of the gas and electricity codes. With offices in each capital city and in Townsville, we employ over 600 staff.

Our program focuses on providing graduates with extensive on-the-job learning, complemented by comprehensive formal training. Graduates take part in three 14-week rotations through different areas, one of which maybe an interstate rotation. We offer:

1. Competitive salary package with increases during the graduate year and at the end of the program.

2. Career advancement – past graduates have frequently reached executive level within six years.

3. Four-weeks annual leave and the possibility to purchase additional leave.

4. Access to flexible working hours, “flex” leave and personal leave.
